The short version. We collect what you give us on our forms and what your bank statements show. We share it with funding partners so they can evaluate your application. We do not sell your personal information to unrelated third parties. You can ask us to stop, ask for a copy, or ask us to delete it.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us directly
- Identity and contact data: name, business name, email address, mobile phone number, business address, and state of operation.
- Business data: entity type, industry, year established, ownership information, and federal tax identification number where required by a funding partner.
- Financial data: requested funding amount, use of funds, monthly revenue range, existing advance or loan positions, and business bank statements you upload or authorize us to obtain.
- Partner data (if you are a broker, ISO, or funder): company name, contact details, license or NMLS number where applicable, and submission volume.
Information we collect automatically
- IP address, device type, browser type, operating system, and general geographic region.
- Pages viewed, time on page, referring URL, and general interaction data.
- Cookie identifiers and similar technologies, as described in section 5.
Information from third parties
- Bank and financial data obtained from you or through a bank verification service you authorize, including account balances, deposit history, and transaction patterns.
- Business verification data from public records, business registries, and identity verification providers.
- Credit data from consumer or commercial reporting agencies, where you have authorized a permissible inquiry. We do not perform a hard credit inquiry as part of the initial application.
- Fraud and risk data from fraud prevention and device reputation services.
2. How we use your information
We use the information described above to:
- Evaluate your funding request and determine which funding partners may be a fit.
- Submit your application to one or more funding partners so they can issue a decision or an offer.
- Verify your identity, your business, and the accuracy of the information you provided.
- Communicate with you by phone, email, text message, and mail about your application or inquiry.
- Prevent fraud, unauthorized access, and misuse of our services.
- Comply with applicable law, respond to lawful requests, and enforce our agreements.
- Improve our website, forms, and service quality.
We do not use your information for automated decision-making that produces legal effects without human review, and we do not use your bank statement data for any purpose other than evaluating and servicing your funding request.
3. Who we share it with
We disclose information in the following circumstances:

We do not sell your personal information to third parties for their own unrelated marketing purposes. Where your state law defines "sale" to include sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, we honor opt-out requests as described in section 6.
4. Your consent to contact us
By submitting a form on our website, you provide express written consent to be contacted by NC Advance and its funding partners at the phone number and email address you provided, including through the use of an automatic telephone dialing system, artificial or prerecorded voice, and text messages. You are not required to provide this consent as a condition of obtaining funding.
To opt out of text messages: reply STOP to any message. Reply HELP for assistance. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.
To opt out of marketing email: use the unsubscribe link in any email, or contact us using the details in section 11.
To opt out of calls: tell the representative, or submit a written request to us. Note that we may still contact you regarding an active application or an existing agreement, as permitted by law.
5. Cookies and tracking technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember your form progress, measure site performance, and understand which pages are useful.
- Strictly necessary cookies are required for the site to function and cannot be disabled.
- Analytics cookies help us understand aggregate usage. These can be refused through your browser settings.
- Advertising cookies, if used, support measurement of marketing campaigns. You may opt out through your browser or the opt-out tools of the relevant advertising networks.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may limit some site functionality, including saving your progress in our application forms. We honor the Global Privacy Control signal where required by applicable law.
Local storage. Our forms may temporarily store your submission data in your browser's local storage to prevent loss of progress. This data stays on your device and is cleared when you clear your browser data.
6. Your privacy rights
Depending on your state of residence, you may have some or all of the following rights:
- Right to know what categories of personal information we collect, the sources, our purposes, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.
- Right to access a copy of the specific personal information we hold about you.
- Right to correct inaccurate personal information.
- Right to delete personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.
- Right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and of targeted advertising.
- Right to limit the use of sensitive personal information.
- Right to non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights. We will not deny you service or charge you a different price for exercising a privacy right.
How to exercise your rights
Submit a request by email to privacy@ncadvance.com with the subject line "Privacy Request," or in writing to the address in section 11. Include your full name, business name, and the email or phone number associated with your application.
We will verify your identity before fulfilling a request. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law, generally 45 days, and will notify you if an extension is necessary. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with written authorization.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information. We do not sell personal information in the conventional sense. If you wish to opt out of any sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, email privacy@ncadvance.com with the subject "Do Not Sell" and we will process the request and honor it on this browser and any identifiable profile.

7. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements. Records related to a funding application are generally retained for a minimum of three years and may be retained longer where required by law or by a funding partner's recordkeeping requirements. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it.
8. How we protect your data
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including:
- Encryption of data in transit using TLS and encryption of sensitive data at rest.
- Access controls limiting employee and contractor access to information on a need-to-know basis.
- Secure document transmission for bank statements and financial records.
- Vendor due diligence and contractual confidentiality requirements.
- Monitoring and logging of access to systems holding personal information.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you transmit information to us at your own risk. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
9. Children's privacy
Our services are intended for business owners and authorized business representatives who are at least 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected information from a minor, we will delete it promptly.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will post the revised policy on this page and update the effective date above. Continued use of our website or services after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
